Voyages-SNCF is working with OpenJaw Technologies to enable the OTA to offer tours and activities packages online.
Using OpenJaw's t-Retail platform, the online travel agency has developed Instants V combining tickets for concerts, festivals, sporting events and attractions with train tickets.
The OTA hoping to tap into the event-based short-break market in France with the initiative and an Instants V tab has been added to the main site.
OpenJaw chief executive Kieron Branagan says the company is providing the shopping technology to connect the events with descriptive content and videos and integrating it into the rail side of the packages so that relevant trains are displayed.
The plan is to make Instants V. also available on mobile.

OpenJaw unveiled its Voyages-SNCF partnership at its t-Retailing Summit this week where it also announced the opening of an office in Hong Kong to support customers in the region.
