TripAdvisor has launched Review Performance, a free analytics dashboard which gives hotels, restaurants and attractions access to a range of data, trends and insight.
The product is designed for businesses to "monitor and maximize their presence on TripAdvisor", with the insights sourced from Tripadvisor itself: its reviews, rankings, and competitor analysis.
Restaurants and attractions will now have access to the same level of competitor analysis as hotels. One new feature of Review Performance is that businesses can define their own competitor set for specific analysis.
Tripadvisor's release referenced a recent study it commissioned with Atmosphere Research which found that hotels which actively engage with their Tripadvisor presence are more viewed and rank higher than properties which do not.
The move comes a few weeks after its former parent company Expedia enhanced its B2B portfolio for hoteliers with PartnerCentral, effectively making its extranet available as an Andriod or iOS app.
