The roll-0ut of new country sites for TripAdvisor continues with the proposed launch of a dedicated service for Indonesia coming to fruition this week.
The latest launch in Asia-Pacific follows the emergence of sites for Greece and Russia earlier this month.
A dedicated, local language site for Indonesia is the first significant move by Asia-Pacific managing director Marc Charron following his move to establish a Singapore regional base for the company earlier this year.
Charron spearheaded the aggressive move by TripAdvisor to launch a string of country sites across Europe over the past three years before heading east.
The number of local sites on the TripAdvisor network has now reached 26.
TripAdvisor already has country sites for India, Thailand, South Korea and China (under the Daodao brand).
