Okay, so there's mobile travel as we know it today and then there's mobile travel taken to the extreme, probably some time in the reasonably near future.
By then, of course, we probably wouldn't think of such things as "mobiles", but devices of all shapes and sizes which are omnipresent in our lives.
So what will happen when Near Field Communication truly takes hold? And touchscreen input is the norm?
Or highly advanced screen displays work anywhere, even in mid-air, probably in three dimensions?
When any material is essentially an interactive surface, where people can obtain information, talk to friends and colleagues? Or simply where everything around us is digitised, but in a subtle, seemingly helpful way.
Luckily we have Microsoft to try and visualise it all (and the money to make a glossy and extremely awe inspiring video, of course).
Enjoy...
