Travel agent lead-generation platform TripScope has sold to Travefy.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The company launched in January 2014 (TLabs here) as a two-part service: a B2B white label mobile application for agents to get leads from consumers as well as a consumer-facing service for consumers to be connected to a marketplace of agents.
Travefy is a itinerary management and client communication service for agencies.
It currently works with more than 1,000 organisations and will soon add the TripScope customer base to its portfolio.
Los Angeles-based TripScope raised $1.2 million in November 2015 in a package led by PLC Ventures and with participation from Wavemaker Ventures, Amplify and ex-Expedia CEO and president Erik Blachford.
The company's CEO, Katelyn O'Shaughnessy is staying with the business in an advisory capacity and talks are underway with its current staff.
Travefy founder and CEO, David Chait, says:

"We have always admired TripScope for their unique agency technology as well as the powerful relationships they’ve made across the industry led by founders Katelyn and Hiron Menon’s amazing vision."
