- Ebookers has unveiled a Weekend Map planning tool which provides travellers with inspiration for a short break. The tool enables travellers to find the best deals by filtering searches by departure airport, budget, length of flight or dates.
- Evolution by Great Hotels of the World and Buuteeq, the digital marketing specialist, have signed a sales and marketing agreement. Under the terms of the deal, Evolution now offers the Buuteeq digital marketing component as part of its hotel reservations platform.
- Ryanair has been named as the launch partner for Webloyalty's expansion in Europe. The low-cost airline already works with the specialist in incremental revenue programmes in the UK, France and Germany, with the relationship now extended to Spain and Italy. Webloyalty provides membership programmes rewarding regular customers with savings and cash back at online retailers.
- Nucleus has joined forces with ESPA Life at Corinthia to create a multi-device website for iPhones, iPads and PCs. The digital consultancy has designed a site which serves up the same information and design based on how the consumer is accessing it.
- Expedia Inc. has been increasing its focus on Latin America. In that regard, the company says bookings for hotels in Argentina on its websites have increased 80% this year compared with 2010.
