SendSquared, a marketing communications platform for hotels and resorts, has raised $1 million in seed funding.
The investment for the Minneapolis-based company comes from private equity firm Cobalt Capital Partners.
SendSquared says it will use the funds to enhance its product and expand sales, marketing and product development teams.
Nicholas Wegener, founder and CEO of the company, says:
“SendSquared was created to fulfill the need for a marketing platform that treats guests like people, not numbers; a system that leverages data to better understand guest interests and preferences, and creates relevant effective marketing.”
Judy Vijums, founder of Cobalt Capital Partners, describes the startup, which was founded in 2018, as a “powerful marketing platform designed to help resorts and hotels maintain more control over capacity and pricing while also creating a better customer experience.”
SendSquared helps hotels, resorts and vacation rental manager improve how they interact with customers across different channels by using guest data.
