Phocuswright Europe 2023 Day 3 in pictures

The 2023 Phocuswright Europe conference wrapped up Wednesday in Barcelona after three days of networking, learning – and celebrating the travel industry’s ongoing resurgence.

With memories of COVID shutdowns still fresh in many minds, more than 600 attendees from nearly 50 countries made this Phocuswright’s biggest conference to date in Europe.

Wednesday’s center stage activities included executive panels on ChatGPT, evolving sales strategies for bookings, the new economics of airline operations and changes for short-term rentals. Amadeus president and CEO Luis Maroto, Thomas Cook CEO Alan French and Jumbo Tours CEO Gines Martinez were among the featured speakers.
