Travel firms using Peakwork's Player Hub can now embed real-time pricing and availability into their Facebook and Instagram ads via a new API connection.
The German dynamic packaging tech specialist has signed up Ameropa-Reisen as the launch customer for the new service. Ameropa is a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn and uses Peakwork to build domestic and international "rail + hotel" packages.
Facebook and Instagram's Dynamic Ads for Travel (DAT) product was launched in May 2016.

Any Facebook or Instagram user clicking on an ad will go directly to the advertiser's booking page.
Also involved in the Facebook integration is Koddi, a metasearch marketing platform and existing partner of Peakwork.Koddi automates the bidding process for the DAT platform, pulling in and mining data from the client, from Facebook and from Peakwork to optimise the marketing spend.

Peakwork was set up in 2009. Last year TUI Group took a 15.4% stake in the business for an undisclosed sum.
