Limehome, an alternative accommodation provider, has landed investment from real estate companies Bauwens, Momeni as well as Althoff Hotels.
The funds, which are said to be in the Euro “mid double-digit” range, enable Limehome to take advantage of the real estate development and management as well as hotel expertize of the participating companies.
Munich-based Limehome says it plans to expand its “digitized design apartments” concept further in Europe.
During the pandemic the company expanded into Spain and the Netherlands.
“We are facing decisive changes in the real estate and hotel industry and want to actively shape them. With the new strategic partnerships, we are now working with companies that understand the change and can optimally support us in further expansion ”, said Dr. Josef Vollmayr, co-founder and managing director of limehome.
Limehome, which was founded in 2018, attracted funding of €21 million in Series A at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.
It added a further €10 million to the series in October 2020.
