Is Jetsetter's new iPad app, which debuted this week, truly visionary? Well, it might be if you appreciate the way it handles 360-degree panoramic imagery of hotels.
The flash sales site says it built its app with imagery that pans smoothly around a hotel room or lobby on multiple planes without the usual stutter-step that is prevalent in most 360-degree virtual tours.
Jetsetter says the free iPad app uses high-resolution images, which are cropped together to create "immersive 360-degree images" for an interactive experience.
And, the homepage sports a rotating slide show of upscale properties on sale at discounted prices.
