Room 77 began adding photos of room interiors to its repertoire.
The startup has received lots of attention for the images it shows of rooms' views outside, but it has now debuted, albeit on a small scale, a Look Inside feature.
The above image is a hotel-provided photo of Room 3018 in the Grand Hyatt Seattle.
Room 77 also began displaying images of rooms' interiors for another Hyatt property, Hyatt at Olive 8.
Both properties are part of Room 77"s Hotel Verified program, which now counts nearly 100 hotels in 18 destinations. These properties work with Room 77 and verify their data.
Look Inside is a glimpse at the way Room 77 hopes to make its room information more comprehensive.
Meanwhile, the startup has been indexing and collecting room information and images from travelers through its iPhone app and via email and expects to unveil the user-generated content "in the weeks ahead," a spokeswoman says.
In other tweaks, Room 77 added properties in Silicon Valley and Orange County, Calif., to its database.
