There is now plenty of evidence as to how airlinesperform in social media but less is known as to how they manage the channel as part of their wider marketing and PR strategy.
Thanks to the folk at Simpliflying, a handy infographic has shed some light on the issue by researching the where the additional (if any) resources are coming from within airlines and how they approach using and engaging in social.
In particular it looks at the integrated and dedicated team models of social media marketing.
