Interhome is to add thousands of vacation rental properties to HomeAway following a distribution partnership between the two companies.
The deal sees Interhome add properties, which can be booked online, to HomeAway via its pay-per-booking product which means no upfront fee to list a property and payment only for bookings received.
The plan is for Interhome properties to be listed on HomeAway.com and VRBO.com in the US as well as FeWo-direkt and HomeAway.co.uk initially. Additional sites including France-based Abritel will feature the properties as HomeAway extends its pay-per-booking capability.
Pay-per-booking for property managers was launched earlier this month with the Interhome deal flagged as the largest distribution partnership to sign up to the product.
HomeAway has been furthering its vacation rental distribution in a number of directions in recent months. Last month Expedia began a trial of HomeAway rentals in its search results.
Earlier this year, it acquired Asia-based Travelmob, a business similar to Airbnb and made an investment in China vacation rental players Tujia.
