Expedia will begin a new television advertising campaign on Monday with the strapline 'Travel Yourself Interesting'.
The promotion, developed by Ogilvy & Mather, will go across TV, social media and online channels in June and July and is centred on how travel enriches life.
The two ads designed for the campaign feature characters who suddenly become the centre of attention because of a travel experience.
The OTA plans to show people how to 'Travel Yourself Interesting' in unusual ways.
Social elements are expected to carry on later into the summer with consumers invited to share quirky things they have learned when travelling.
This latest multi-million pound campaign follows Expedia's 'Find Yours' promotion earlier this year as well as its quirky promotion using a mash up of airport codes.
