Hotel booking engine and web design provider Avvio has scored a $5.5 million injection of capital from Calculus Capital.
The company, which as offices in Ireland and the UK, also creates online marketing and account management tools for properties across Europe.
Some 350 clients include Marlin Apartments, The Arch in London and Maldron Hotels.
The investment will be used to "accelerate its [Avvio's] roll out in the UK, expand its marketing efforts and continue to evolve its booking conversion technology".
CEO Frank Reeves created the company in 2002 and now employs around 40 people.
Calculus has previously invested in a number of other technology companies including AOMi, a cloud-based back office workforce optimisation software company, and Money Dashboard, an online personal financial management platform.
The investment comes during a recent upsurge in activity in the B2B hotel technology sector.
Priceline spent undisclosed fees to buy Buuteeqand Hotel Ninjas earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Travelportlaid out what is believed to be around $14 million on Hotelzon in June and Sabrebought Genares for an undisclosed amount in September.
