The leading ten destinations and accommodation websites in the US command just 26% of overall traffic, compared to 66% for agencies and 82% for airlines.
TripAdvisor, Hotels.com and Marriott are the leading three brands in the sector, with 9%, 3.5% and 3% respectively.
The top thee sites in the agency category have combined total of 31%, while the airlines top ten have 45%.
