Zolv, a company mostly know for its web design skills has been developing technology to help call-centre consultants bring holidays to life for consumers.
Sales Assist, as the name suggests, helps agents present the customer with images, video, quotes and other relevant information such as website addresses.
Zolv managing director Olly Wenn says the tool doesn't require any plug-ins, downloads or what he describes as 'friction' because it works by establishing a session on the server connecting both parties when the customer calls.
Once the call has ended the customer still has access to all the information including any quotes and the agent can also use it to include in a follow-up email.
Zolv is now looking for a customer to install the technology as well as considering further developments such as Skype integration and an itinerary building service.
The technology can also be used via mobile device or tablet.
Zolv works with a number of large travel companies on website design including Virgin Holidays and Virgin Atlantic and has also recently been selected to work with Monarch.
