Triptease has raised $4 million bringing the total it has raised so far to $22 million.
The hotel technology specialist raised $9 million in a Series B round last year on top of $7 million in Series A in early 2016 and seed funding of $2 million in February 2015.
The latest round comes from the company's original investors BGF and Notion Capital and will go towards further expansion in Asia following the opening of an office in Singapore last year.
The company is also boosting its management team with a plan to recruit a general manager for the Asia Pacific region. The role comes on top of Triptease's recently appointed chief revenue officer, Richard Collins, who joined from Click Software. The startup's co-founder and general manager for the Americas, Alexandra Zubko, is to become chief customer customer officer.
Triptease is also planning further product development as part of its drive to help hotels with direct bookings. Part of this sees the rollout of its chatbot.

Triptease provides hotels with a software platform to help them increase online conversions. The company says its software makes for a smoother booking process with 20% more people booking direct on a hotel's website.
Simon Calver, head of investments - ventures, at BGF says it sees "long-term growth potential" in travel for "disruptive software businesses".
