Bespoke travel planning and booking platform Nezasa (TLabs here) has announced a full round of funding, bringing in $800,000 (700,000 CHF) of growth funding to the company.
The latest round of cash, which came from a family office, business angels and existing investors, will be earmarked for expanding the company's destination offerings - especially further in Asia and into Africa.
Nezasa CEO Manuel Hilty:

Over the last year, Nezasa has taken huge strides in combining the service and convienience of a traditional travel agency with the advantage and ease of bookings online. This new series of investments will give Nezasa a boost in extending its service to exciting new destinations in Asia and other areas around the world.
Traditional travel agencies offer a high level of service in assembling exciting itineraries for their clients, but Nezasa's online service puts that power in the hands of those who actually do the traveling, all from the comfort of their home computer, and fully customizable too.
Other developments for the company include:
- A partnership with Austrian Airlines, with the company actively pursuing more partnerships in this area
- Nezasa was selected as the hardest-working startup and a top 100 startup at the 2013 Dublin Web Summit
- Sri Lanka and the Philippines are the latest destination additions, bringing the total to 7 Asian destinations
Nezasa's current investors include Paul Sevinç and Myke Näf, the founders of the leading online scheduling service Doodle, and Gregory Gerhardt, founder of Amazee Labs and Amazee Metrics. Paul Sevinç is also a member of Nezasa's board of directors along with other travel industry experts.
