Chris Loughlin is leaving Travelzoo and will be replaced as CEO by Holger Bartel, brother of the business' founder Ralph Bartel.
The statement said that Loughlin will leave at the end of the year and says the departure is "at his own request to pursue other opportunities."
He has been CEO of Travelzoo since 2010.
Holger Bartel's official job title is "global CEO". Earlier this summer Travelzoo bought back its Asia-Pacific business. The unit had been operating independently since 2009 under a licensing agreement.
His employment and options are revealed in the 8-K filing:

"Mr. Bartel will receive an annual salary in the amount of one-dollar ($1) in cash compensation and equity compensation of 400,000 stock options to vest quarterly during the period from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017."
Elsewhere, Travelzoo has also named Vivian Hong, 42 as president, Asia Pacific. She will have "profit and loss responsibility" for China, Hong Kong, Japan, South East Asia and Taiwan. Mike Sitt has been promoted to president North America, overseeing the US and Canadian operations.
