Dohop, Reevoo, Honeywell, OnAir, GoIndonesia and STA Travel all appear in our roundup of the stories making news and driving opinion on 1 November.
DISTRIBUTION
Iceland-based metasearch engine Dohop has done a complete redesign. Here are four key points worth noting about its gorgeous new look:

The site now shows results in real-time. (It used to wait until it had a pool of results.)
It's now "responsive", meaning it'll look great when viewed on any size screen. ("No app is forthcoming," says the company.")
If the site finds a cheaper price on an alternate date, a little blue box will appear at the top of the screen to notify the user.
The site was designed by Icelandic digital advertising agency Skapalon.
Indonesian travel booking site GoIndonesia.com joins SiteMinder’s new Room Distribution Exchange (RDX) platform. Faster and direct access to hotel reservation systems are promised.
DIGITAL MARKETING/SEARCH
Today Reevoo, the cloud-based social commerce solution provider, said it had inked a deal with the international hotel chain BlueBay Hotels & Resorts to deliver reviews and ratings made by verified guests in five languages.
CAREER MOVES
Youth travel agency STA Travel Group has promoted John Constable to chief executive from group managing director.
AVIATION TECH
Honeywell has signed an agreement making OnAir the distributor of Inmarsat’s Global Xpress Ka-band aircraft connectivity services. All parties are eyeing an early 2015 launch of Inmarsat’s Ka-band satellite-powered Global Xpress (GX) service on commercial aircraft.
