Rokkan rolls with One&Only
- One&OnlyResorts has tapped Publicis Groupe's creative and media agency Rokkan to drive its digital transformation, including its new web site. One&Only said it need a revamp in order to maintain its leadership in the ultra-luxury resorts sector in the face of new market entrants.
UK's latest holiday home portal
- The UK has another website for self-catering holiday homes, with lovecottages.co.uk launching this week with 9,500 options available to book online or via a call-centre. It aggregates inventory from nearly 50 agents, with the promise that each home has been "personally inspected".
Thursday 28 JanuaryGrabTaxi becomes Grab
- Southeast Asia's transportation app GrabTaxi has changed its corporate identity to Grab, with a new group logo, URL and app launched at the same time. CEO and co-founder Anthony Tan said the move reflects its products other than taxi hailing such as its private car hire, motorbike taxi, ridesharing and delivery options.
Tuesday 26 JanuaryEtihad opts for global agency
- Etihad Airways has appointed Lowe Open as its first-ever global direct marketing agency, giving it a three-year-deal with the brief also covering the airlines loyalty scheme Etihad Guest. The account will be led by Lowe Open's Abu Dhabi office, supported by its UK and US teams.
