Online intelligence specialist Lixto Software has been acquired by McKinsey & Co with terms of the deal undisclosed.
The purchase of Lixto ties in nicely with the management consultancy's existing Periscope revenue management technology.
Vienna-based Lixto works, across a number of industries including travel and hospitality, to help companies improve their performance by analysing online competitive pricing data. The Lixto team is expected to stay with the company post acquisition including Jason Houle The company counts Best Western and Hotel.de among its customers.
