Singapore-based same day and mobile-based hotel booking service IN2NITE has raised $2.8 million funding led by IDG Ventures and a number of other regional investors.
IN2NITE says it will use the fund to expand its service in Asian countries. The company currently has a presence in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Hong Kong.
Founded in 2013, the company focuses on selling the unsold hotel rooms via its mobile apps that are available for iOS, Android and Blackberry platforms.
Founder and CEO, Arne Dettki, says:

Frederic de Bure, venture partner at IDG Ventures Vietnam, will be joining IN2NITE's board.
Competitors of IN2NITE in the APAC market include HotelQuickly (TLabs here), the Hong Kong-based company that has raised $1.7 million funding so far and has its presence in 12 countries in APAC.
