FastBooking has developed a piece of technology to deliver online customers to a hotel's own website from a number of partner sites.
Once a consumer has searched for a hotel on a site, including Tripadvisor, Google Maps and Google Hotel Finder or Trivago, they can click on a 'check rates' button and be transferred to the hotel's own website.
The FastBooking Direct Link has been developed using XML technology and delivers online consumers to a dedicated landing page within the hotel site.
The hotel e-commerce specialist estimates the Direct Link technology could put the hotel website and availability in front of more than 100 million unique visitors each month.
The technology will be extended to Kayak and Wego in the first quarter of 2012 with plans to extend it to additional partner sites during the course of next year.
