The East Coast of the US is being battered by Hurricane Irene this weekend, but one web travel startup wants to put a smile back on everyone's faces.
Tour and activity marketplace Sidetour quietly added a fantastic new adventure to its homepage today: Ride Out The Storm - Experience a New York City Hurricane.
The tour host's name is, of course, Irene ("Internationally Renowned Hurricane").

"Have those long summer days got you wishing for something to break the heat? Well, look no further: my nationally recognized experience is just the thing you’ve been looking for, from 95 gusty knots of awesome wind power to 951 mbars of rawkin’ atmospheric pressure.
"Critics have called it the 1st major hurricane of the 2011 season! Don’t feel like leaving the house? Don’t fret! With this experience, the action will come to you, whether you like it or not.
"A note to those who are considering riverside seats: If you live in Zones A or B, please choose different seats to have a fun and safe experience. Our show doesn’t pull any punches and attendees who sit too close will definitely get wet!! Please bring your own supplies, including food, water, and candles.
"Make sure to close all your windows for the experience. Sorry, no refunds."
As with many of Sidetour's activities, only limited space available: 8.4 million places left.
