Not to be outdone by the likes of Farelogix, which has spent a fair amount of time challenging the status quo in travel distribution through video, here comes the GDS response.
European lobbying group and representation body ETTSA released a video last night to outline what it sees as the historical context for travel distribution, both from a leisure and corporate travel perspective.
Also supported also by the European wing of the GBTA, ETTSA says the video is "designed to give European policymakers, stakeholders and consumers a quick, accurate overview of independent travel distribution and its place in the value chain".
Note its use of the word "accurate". Fighting talk?
