Hotel management technology company eRevMax wants to give property owners a better perspective and ability to react to feedback on review sites.
Better known for its revenue management software through the RateTiger brand, eRevMax has developed an “online guest review consolidator” for hotels to help hoteliers better manage the online reputation of a property.
RTSuite Review works by bringing in content from review sites across the web into a single platform. Owners can slice and dice the information against different parameters, such as facilities, food, customer service and cleanliness.
The system also lets owners respond directly to individual reviews on other sites from the platform as well as use benchmarking tools to evaluate the performance within user reviews against competitors.
The “consolidation” process has an upper limit of reviews up to two years old, but has a lag of seven days behind the sites it monitors.
CEO Sascha Hausmann says the statistical analysis through the system can also be used to establish how an individual features amongst top sites, general customer satisfaction levels and average ratings by product.
RTSuite is not the first reputation management system to hit the hotel marketplace in recent years, other similar products include GuestCentric and ReviewPro, but its development by essentially a rate and revenue software company illustrates that owners are demanding better tools for handling new areas of a business, such as social media.
