Hidden Journeys is taking its bid to improve the flying experience a step further by encouraging photographers to tweet their aerial pictures.
The initial project was implemented last year by the Royal Geographic Society to provide travellers with information on what is down below as they fly over destinations.
This latest development asks passengers to tweet their pictures via its recently launched @HiddenJourneys Twitter feed using #FromTheAir.
Hidden Journeys now has 25 flight guides on the website including Frankfurt to Baku and Buenos Aires to Santiago.
The project is also working with an inflight entertainment company to integrate its content into the moving map of a major airline.
