Gtrot, a social travel planning service started by a couple of Harvard College students, just received $560,000 in funding, according to a financial filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Actually, the funding goes to the site operator, Get Out of Cambridge, which is headquartered in Harvard's shadows.
Zachary Smith and Robert Corty, two Harvard students, launched the site in 2008, and plan to use the latest funding to spread the word to other college campuses, Mass High Tech reports.

Gtrot couldn't immediately be reached for comment on its plans.
Mass High Tech says gtrot previously received about $143,000 in funding.
