Tnooz brings its THack roadshow to Hamburg, Germany, our third continent for a hackathon in as many months.
This hackathon will get its hands on
next-generation APIs to solve digital problems that airlines worldwide are extremely interested in right now.
Co-sponsored with the industry giant
IATA (International Air Transport Association) and with
Jet Messaging Technologies, THack Hamburg will run from
Friday 16 October to Sunday 18 October.
It will give developer and designers the chance to build travel technology products and tools.
Individuals and teams with any skillset (developer, UX designer, business analyst, product manager, etc.) can participate. Participation/entry is FREE, but
registration via Eventbrite is required.
Individuals and teams will build a travel product solution for one of
three problem statements.
Total cash prizes of US$10,000+ (Euro 9,100+) to be awarded.
THack Hamburg will let developers get their hands on IATA's next-generation,
NDC-compliant APIs for airline shopping and related travel services.
IATA's XML-based New Distribution Capability (NDC) standards provide consumers with the same experience no matter where they do their shopping.
THack’s sponsoring organizations and API providers, including
Hotelbeds,
Jet Messaging Technologies,
SITA,
Airbus BizLab,
IBM,
HP,
Make It Social, and
Sabre, will give access to their technology for developers to solve a few travel challenges.
The event venue is
Betahaus Hamburg.
