With rail one of the fastest growing business travel categories in Europe, HRG introduced a new feature in its corporate-booking tool which enables corporations to monitor rail spend for savings.
HRG Online version 8.6, available only in the U.K., allows corporations to analyze savings based on all of the available rail fare types, HRG says.
Clients then can analyze their savings when measured against standard ticket prices, the travel management company says.
The reporting tool, developed in-house, highlights employees rail bookings which violate corporate policy, giving clients the opportunity to rein them in for savings, the company says.
The new rail sales feature can be viewed in rail-only display and the blended air and rail display in HRG online.
