Reservation technology specialist Atcore has acquired tour operating system supplier TigerBay with terms of the deal undisclosed.
Atcore believes the company is a good fit for it because TigerBay's technology is aimed at small and medium sized tour operators while Atcore tends towards larger tour operators.
Wales-based TigerBay launched in 2008 and has been growing steadily with client wins including Mark Warner, Wendy Wu and Sunvil.
Managing director Carl Morgan and the rest of TigerBay’s management team are expected to remain with the business.
Atcore was originally Anite Travel but was rebranded just over a year ago following a £45m management buyout of Anite Travel from Anite PLC.
The buyout took place in May and was supported by private equity firm LDC.
