Taxi and transfer booking platform Cabforce has capped a busy 12 months with the addition of a Euro 1.5 million investment round.
The injection comes from a mixture of private investors and a grant from Finnvera, a specialised financing company owned by the Finland government.
The company had previously secured an undisclosed seed round in March 2012 from TripIt co-founder Gregg Brockway as well as Vera Ventures, KoppiCatch and Finnish innovation agency TEKES.
Cabforce says the latest funding will be used to help push the service to more third party travel agencies and airlines.
During 2014 the company integrated with both Travelport and Amadeus, giving their respective agency customers the ability to search and secure transfers for customers within the existing booking workflow.
Home country airline Finnair and SAS have also both recently signed partnership deals with Cabforce, as well as corporate travel agencies BCD Travel and CWT.
Last September, former-Amadeus distribution and marketing chief, Ian Wheeler, joined the company as a board advisor.
