Airbnb for luggage storage - that's the premise of Stasher (formerly CityStasher), allowing travelers to find a local who will look after their bags after they check out of a rental property.

Travelers look for a "Stashpoint" in a destination, drop their items off and then collect them when they need leave.

Hosts can be individuals or local businesses. Stasher claims 25% of its users will buy items at their Stashpoint, if available.

Taking 50% commission on each item stored, Stasher has already secured two rounds of funding (pre-seed and venture capital) and is expanding to new locations quickly.
