Sabre has put together some research on trends in corporate travel in Asia Pacific with some interesting results around ancillaries and personalisation.
Among seven key trends identified in the study is the fact that itinerary management apps are now mainstream.
However, there is a view that a concierge model is emerging because of the the tendency to rely on agents more in the region.
Further findings include that data analytics is seen as increasingly important as the corporate travel industry strives to deliver more personalised services.
This year data analytics was deemed very important by almost 50% of respondents compared to last year when less than a third identified the area as a key focus.
Additional trends identified include tighter control around ancillary services which will be interesting for airlines trying to increase revenue via these products and services.
