The new owners of TravelPost have been coy about their ultimate intentions, but they are conducting a survey about hotel reviews and social media.
It's not a major surprise that the former Expedia folk who bought TravelPost from Kayak would make hotel reviews and social media part of the mix.
Here's a sample question:
Which of the following services did you use to plan your daily itinerary?
Respondents can select, Facebook, Lonely Planet, TripAdvisor, TripIt, online travel agent, human travel agent or other.
Other questions delve into how often you gave or received travel recommendations in the last six months, and whether you own a website or blog.
TravelPost probably won't be publishing the survey results, but will have some new data to consider in its building efforts.
