Amadeus is talking big again, this time with a preview of its Featured Results solution which it says 'revolutionises' the way flight options are presented to travellers.
The patent is pending on the technology with a beta currently being piloted on Vayama's website using 100 origin and destination combinations.
Amadeus Featured Results aims to make travel search simpler and more relevant by combining flight search technology with business intelligence and effectively shifting through the results for users.
The distribution giant says its processing more data than ever to present:

"the most relevant, cheapest, fastest, sponsored and most popular bookable travel options."
Vayama boss Ted Jansen says in a statement that Featured Results is a 'game-changer' for the industry.
Featured Results combines Amadeus' computing might with its business intelligence platform and search data to present the most frequently booked flight options and can also promote a specific offer if a travel agent requests it.
The GDS promised 'revolution' in travel application development in July when it opened up its code library to third party developers.
It also launched its Extreme Search technology in 2010 with Lufthansa as the first airline partner and later announcing Nordic online travel agency eTraveli as its OTA partner.
Amadeus Featured Results is being previewed at the PhocusWright Travel Innovation Summit this week in Arizona with full release planned for early 2013.
