Amadeus Next, an incubator-style division focused on nurturing startups in Asia-Pacific, has enlisted TripHobo to its portfolio of new businesses.
The trip planning and itinerary service will join Amadeus Next so that it can realise its ambition of becoming all-in-one dynamic packaging service.
In particular, Amadeus will provide TripHobo with flight search services so that it can complete its strategy of providing end-to-end travel options.
Amadeus Next will also act as a mentoring service to TripHobo, including the opportunity to extend the user base to Amadeus's customers, use Amadeus's technology and access to funding programmes.
TripHobo has already secured a Series A round in the region of $1 million from Kalaari Capital in June 2014, with a Series B top-up of $3 million round from Mayfield and, again, Kalaari in March last year.
Simon Akeroyd, vice president for corporate strategy and business development at Amadeus Asia-Pacific, says:

"Amadeus Next works with travel startups to evolve new and original ideas by using our technology, expertise and reach.
TripHobo is a great partner; their trip planning solution addresses a huge gap in the market and has the potential to be game-changing for the travel industry."
Other startups on the Amadeus Next roster include TripVerse, Klook, TopDocs and Triposo.
