Flashmobs have become an obvious element of guerilla marketing these days, so how best to try and recapture the old jaw-dropping moments?
It is actually not that long ago when a heap of people would turn up unannounced somewhere, do something daft (sing, dance, silent disco) and it would be headline news, captured on mobile phone cameras, talked about for days.
Not any more. The buzz has worn a little bit in recent years.
So forget stations, airports, shopping malls, etc, target a very formal conference. Maybe a travel, tourism and hospitality conference.
Just like Portuguese airline TAP did this week in Brazil, during the Panrotas event.
