Líbere Hospitality Group has raised €6 million in funding from its founding team and employees.
The Spain-based company, which has 13 properties across Spain, Portugal and Italy, said the funds will go towards accelerating recruitment and expansion.
In a release, Líbere Hospitality said it raised internally to maintain control of the operation and that it expects to increase revenue sixfold over the next three years and will end 2023 with a turnover of €15 million.
Jon Uriarte, founder and president of the company, said it plans to invest in its proprietary technology and expand its “Hospitality Tech” business model, described as “a new type of accommodation and property management that, thanks to technology, offers a unique and differentiating experience in short-, medium- and long-term accommodation with flexible conditions for both guests and property owners."

“We aim to become the leading European alternative tourism operator and an internationally recognized group in the sector,” he said.
Líbere recently debuted new properties in Barcelona and Bilbao and has further properties opening in Madrid, Ciudad Real and Lisbon. It currently has 37 properties with 1,200 units across 13 cities in Spain and southern Europe and plans to reach 1,300 units by the end of 2024.
The company is also consolidating its three brands - Líbere, Naitly and B48 - under new corporate identity LHG.
