Every now and again a new thing comes along that is extremely clever, makes people scratch their heads a bit, and inevitably has lots of applications to travel.
Step forward Condition One, a new digital service which has captured a fair amount of attention this week following its official unveiling and announcement of launch partners (Guardian, Mercedes, Discovery).
The US-based company creates 180-degree (suspect it'll move to 360 at some point) videos which are then controlled by the user in every kind of way.
By controlled, this isn't just stop, play, pause, fast-forward, etc. The videos, when viewed on an iPad, can be viewed in augmented reality mode - meaning when the user effectively watches the video and controls the camera angle and movement.
It is far easier to watch a clip (excuse the founders talking about how amazing it is) or download the demo for the iPad.
