A renaissance in email newsletters is underway, driven by a variety of factors of which marketers should take note.
Inboxes are filling up with automated digests from social networks (notably LinkedIn), the new breed of news providers -- the likes of Buzzfeed, Quartz, and Business Insider -- are investing heavily in hand-crafted email updates, and avid bloggers are turning to newsletter writing.
