Consolidation time - TrekkSoft has bought fellow online booking tool for tours and activities, Acteavo.
Terms of the deal between the Switzerland and Ireland-based companies have not been disclosed.
Acteavo CEO Olan O'Sullivan will join TrekkSoft as part of the acquisition.
The company's product range is similar to that provided by its new owner, covering a range of tools for activity operators, including website design, online marketing, mobile support and payment gateways.
The core part of the service is a central reservation system to allow operators to take bookings online through distribution channels and their own websites.
Launching the company in 2013, O'Sullivan had taken undisclosed investment from Enterprise Ireland, the state-backed startup support service.
Acteavo had also participated in the Start-Up Chile accelerator programme.
The company had mostly captured its customer base from the UK and Irish markets.
TrekkSoft has managed to attract a number of investment rounds so far, including a $1.1 million raise earlier this year from Redalpine Capital.
