Right on cue for the peak skiing season in Europe, Snow & Alps, the company behind the Snowbon activities and ski gear website, has raised Euro 1 million.
The injection of capital comes via Germany-based High Tech Grunderfonds and Extorel.
Snow and Alps was founded in the summer of 2012 and launched later the same year, with a mission to aggregate ski gear providers and other services for online travel agencies and tour operators.
It counts some 600 providers in more than 200 destinations since its launch.
More than 100 partnerships with OTAs and operators have since been secured, the company says. It plans to use the investment to develop in new markets and grow the customer base.
The business is two-fold - B2B booking system for ski extras through consumer-facing specialists as well its own Snowbon website.
The service sells ski passes, equipment and ski school sessions across a string of resorts in the European Alps.
The company received an initial first, six-figure Euro round in November 2012
