SilverRail Technologies has unveiled its search and ticketing platform which aims to integrate rail connections from across the globe into a single booking system.
The SilverCore platform enables users to search for and book rail for journeys involving a number of countries and train operators in a single transaction.
The technology also means travel agents and travel management companies, both on and offline, will be able to offer a more integrated rail booking solution.
The platform now offers rail connections from the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg as well as the US and Canada and the plan is to add more European rail operators in the coming months.
SilverRail signed a deal to integrate the platform with Dolphin Dynamics' reservation system in February enabling users to compare train options alongside GDS flights and low-cost carriers as well as package up rail with hotels and car-hire.
The company also has a partnership to integrate the platform with Sabre's GetThere travel and expense tool.
SilverRail revealed additional funding of $5 million in April, which came on top of the $9.6m it had announced at launch.
The company also launched a consumer-facing brand, Quno, just over year ago.
