More moves in the hotel tech arena with the Rainmaker Group snapping up market intelligence and rate analytics service Revcaster.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Revcaster was created in 2012 by a team of former hoteliers, including president and founder Daniel Wise who previously worked Best Western as a property revenue manager.
The system collects marketing intelligence and competitive data for properties across branded sites and online travel agencies.
The company claims to have seen its platform installed by 5,000 properties worldwide.
Rainmaker says the acquisition will bolster its existing suite of revenue management tools for hotels, casinos and resorts.
Norwest Venture Partnersinvested $33.8 million in Rainmaker in October 2012.
