Some web toys are just too difficult to describe, or words do not do them enough justice - you just have to go and play with it.
And so welcome to WeAreData, a side-project by the folk at Ubisoft as they head towards the release of upcoming game, Watch Dogs.
In short, developers have collected as much of the publicly available data as they can about three European cities (London, Berlin and Paris), placed it all into an interactive map.
Everything from crime figures to the live position of underground/subway trains, location of CCTV cameras and mobile mobiles to whereabouts of traffic lights, and tweets via Twitter, Flickr photos and Foursquare check-ins are included.
