Accommodation provider laterooms.com has released previews of its next TV ad campaign in the UK, featuring a new brand character called Colin.
The campaign will run for a fortnight from Sunday to coincide with the laterooms.com sale.
Mother London is the agency behind the concept and the ad uses the strapline "how could this night get any better?" The thinking is that the phrase is a continuation of the "it's going to be a great night" tagline used on the TV campaign which ran from last November until this June.
It also hopes that by using comedian Marcus Brigstocke to provide the voice-over for both campaigns viewers will see the continuity and consistency of its efforts.
There are two adverts, each of which has a 30 second and 10 second version.
Here's the 30 second version featuring a stag party.
And a variation on the "male business traveller alone in a hotel room" theme.
